Beginner Crockpot Recipe: Steak Fajitas (Freezer Meal)

Whether you are new to using a crockpot, aka slow cooker, or a seasoned pro, this recipe is easy to prepare and tastes wonderful!
Ingredients
  • 1.5 pounds boneless sirloin steak
  • 1 large pepper, any color
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • ¼-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Serve on warmed tortillas with salsa, shredded cheddar cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, olives
Instructions
  1. Thinly slice your steak, onion and peeper and place in your slow cooker
  2. Add the rest of your ingredients to slow cooker
  3. Stir to mix everything together
  4. Cook on high power for 2.5 to 3 hours
  5. Serve on warmed tortillas with salsa, shredded cheddar cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, and olives
  6. FREEZER MEAL directions:
  7. Follow instructions above but do not cook and place everything in a 1 gallon freezer bag. Label and freeze. Allow to thaw prior to cooking
