I made this for dinner tonight and really liked it!  I was full of flavor and didn’t taste anything like cooked greens.

Garden Fresh Sauteed Garlic and Jalapeno Kale

 

Sauteed Garlic and Jalapeno Kale
1 large bunch young kale greens, roughly chopped
10 small cloves garlic
1 small red jalapeno pepper
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste

In large skillet, heat oil. When the oil is hot, add pepper and garlic. Cook 1-2 minutes until tender and fragrant but not brown.  Add chicken broth, kale and salt and pepper. Turn heat to medium-high and put cover on pan.  Allow to steam for 5 minutes. Remove cover and allow to cook until all of the liquid is gone.  Serve immediately.
