Do You Love Peanut Butter and Chocolate? Try this!

- 2 9" round chocolate cakes
- 1 bag Reeseās peanut butter cups (the miniature kind) (keep stored in refrigerator)
- Peanut Butter Frosting:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ¾ cup butter, softened
- 1½ tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- Frosting:
- With mixer, beat butter until smooth and fluffy.
- Add peanut butter, vanilla and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time. Mixing well after each cup.
- Slowly add milk and mix slowly, adding more milk until desired consistency is reached.
- Assembling the cake:
- Level cakes if necessary.
- Frost the top of the first cake, then add second cake to top of frosted cake.
- Frost the top and sides.
- Unwrap Reese's peanut butter cups and cut in half. They are easier to cut if they have been chilled.
- Place halves of peanut butter cups around the base and top of the cake.
- Coarsely chop 4-6 peanut butter cups.
- Sprinkle over the top of the cake.
- Enjoy!
