Moist and Rich Buttermilk Dark Chocolate Cake Recipe

- 1¾ cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk (I used buttermilk powder to make my buttermilk)
- 1 cup strong coffee
- ½ cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Preheat oven to 340F (350F will work if you can't go down to 340F)
- Mix all of the dry ingredients in one bowl
- In another bowl, mix together all of the wet ingredients
- Add of the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients
- Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes
- Scrape down the sides of the bowls and mix again for another minute
- Divide the batter evenly between your prepared baking pans
- *Note* This batter is very thin. That's OK!
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until done and toothpick comes out clean
- Allow to cool 10 minutes before removing cake from pan
