Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chicken diced
  • 1 pound frozen mixed vegetables or any favorite vegetable combination
  • 1 small can french fried onion rings
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans cream of chicken condensed soup
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 1 can crescent rolls cut into strips, length wise

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add chicken, vegetables, 2/3rds of cheese and onion rings, cans of soup, and milk. Mix well.

  2. In a lightly greased 9×13" baking dish, add chicken mixture. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 20 minutes.

  3. After 20 minutes of baking, remove from oven and top with remaining cheese and onion rings.

  4. Open and gently unroll can of crescent roll dough. Cut into strips, lenthwise. Using a lattice pattern, lay the strips in a crisscross pattern on top of the casserole. Bake for another 15-20 minutes or unti biscuit topping is golden brown.

  5. Serve with rice to stretch the casserole. Enjoy! 🙂
