I’m excited! My brand new, GE Profile stove is arriving today!!! I’ve never owned a new stove in my life and can’t wait to try it out. My husband and I went to John Marcella’s in Schenectady at the recommendation of our contractor. Let me just say, their salesman was outstanding and even if it cost more to purchase the stove from the, it would have been worth it. The salesmans gave us lots of information about all the different kinds of stoves and how much would we use a new stove, ect. and then showed us their stoves.
Not knowing all that much, I was really impressed by all the time he took with us to listen and answer our questions. I ended up settling on a GE Profile oven. It is a “dual” fuel which means the cooktop is gas and the oven is electric. The oven is also a convection oven, so now I can bake all my cookie trays at one time and they will all cook evenly…no more burned buttons and brown tops on my cookies! There is also a warming/cooking draw below the main oven that is good for those holidays where everything needs to be in the oven and there’s not enough room for it.
