One of the blogs that I follow, Home Sweet Farm, posted this absolutely delicious looking pasta salad. I decided to try it out tonight and see how my family liked it.  My kids aren’t really huge traditional, macaroni salad fans and I am always looking for a pasta salad recipe that they would like.

This salad is a snap to make and is great in the summer time when you have all of the fresh veggies to fill it with. I hope you enjoy this as much as my family did.

BLT Pasta Salad

1/2 cup Miracle Whip (I just used Hellman’s Mayo)
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
3 cups cooked elbow macaroni (or any other shape you might have in the cupboard)
1/2 cup chopped seeded tomato
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
3 cups shredded lettuce
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients. Add the macaroni, tomatoes and onions; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate. Just before serving, add lettuce and bacon; toss to coat.
