Spicy Garlic Shrimp
1/2 lb uncooked shrimp
1 Tbsp. oil (I use garlic oil)
4 small cloves of garlic
Ground hot pepper
Salt

If uncooked shrimp still has the vein and shell on it, remove it. Rinse shrimp and toss with a few shakes of salt, about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon. Let sit for about 15 minutes while you prepare the rest of the dish.  Smash each clove of garlic with knife and then finely chop it. In small skillet, combine oil and garlic. Lightly saute for about 3 minutes until tender.  Add shrimp and a few shakes of ground hot pepper* and cook until shrimp is pink through, about 5 minutes.

* I use a dried hot red pepper from my garden that I had crushed up.

I add the shrimp to a large tossed salad and serve it with garlic salad dressing and fresh bread. Enjoy!
